    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS | BLOGGING

Whenever people find out that I am a blogger, there is always that handful of questions that get asked repeatedly, so I thought I would just pop them in a post for you, in the unlikely event that you too were wondering the same things.
    Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging for a number of reasons, the main being that I didn’t have a proper hobby other than shopping (if you can class that as one) and having watched and read many bloggers beforehand, I decided that I would give it a go. Prior to starting my own blog, I was really into watching and reading about makeup which is when my makeup fiend tendencies started which resulted in buying lots of products and really loving a few, I told my friends about some of my great finds but I wanted to tell a wider spread of people.
    What’s so good about blogging?
I think it’s quite hard to pinpoint what I love about blogging as there are innumerable things that I love, so here’s a few. I love the fact that it’s MY blog and that I can write whatever I feel like whenever I feel like and no one has control about it, other than me. Connecting with people with similar interests is another big factor as my friends aren’t really into makeup as I am, and I know that due to blogging, I can just send an email, or tweet another blogger whether it be for a recommendation or just a nice little chat. Something that always makes me really glad is when someone tells me that they’re glad that they found my blog or that they can see how far I’ve come. I don’t get those all that often, yet when I do, I truly cherish it as it means a lot to me.
When are you going to stop?
In all honesty, I don’t plan on stopping any time soon. I’ve put a multitudinous amount of time, effort and energy into my blog and I would hate it if something came up that meant I would have to stop; I refused to stop when I was doing my exams as I feel like if you really enjoy doing something, nothing and no one should stop you. I don’t know what I’d spend my weekends doing otherwise as blogging is a huge part of my life. So long story short, I don’t know when I’m going to stop, but I don’t plan on quitting any time soon.
How do you juggle blogging with being in full-time education?
Full time education and blogging can leave little time for some down time. I’m currently off for summer (hence why I can write daily) however I’m a relatively organised person, and Monday to Friday would purely be for work and I would only pop on my blog to reply to comments, I would dedicate a few hours on the weekend to blogging for the week ahead. It’s safe to say that it’s hard but it is still manageable. There has been times when I have really resented being in education; not because I’m ungrateful, but because it didn’t really leave time for me to do what I wanted to do.
How do you design your blog yourself?

It’s a challenge. My blog looks so simple yet behind the scenes, it’s annoyingly hard. Everything you see before you has been done by yours truly and everything that I know has been self-taught thanks to an obscene amount of tutorials. To be honest, it’s all trial and error. You’ll try some things and they may just not work, but I just keep trying. I’m not 100% happy with it; however I’m trying my best to make it the best I can be.
