    ITSJUDYTIME | #PIXIPRETTIES

Pixi is a brand that I previously only went to for their skincare products; however recently, I branched into their makeup products. Pixi have come out with four collaborations – more reviews coming soon! Pixi and ItsJudyTime have collaborated and brought out eyeshadow and lip palettes. When I saw these, I was initially really excited, particularly about the eyeshadow palette, as it’s right up my alley as it consists of warm tone eyeshadows, although I was a little iffy about the lip palette as I hadn’t used one since I was little.

    ItsEyeTime: EYESHADOW PALETTE* - £28

This eyeshadow palette consists of 12 warm tone, neutral eyeshadows. There are 7 mattes and 5 shimmer eyeshadows. As you can see from my swatches, these eyeshadows are nicely pigmented and I like how buildable they are as it allows you to layer the shadows and build up intensity and increase longevity. In my first impressions video, which featured this palette, I mentioned that these eyeshadows have quite a bit of fallout, however I love using this palette so much, that I’ll happily let that one slide! On the back of the palette, there’s a cute little mirror (perfect if you’re travelling and you’ve forgotten to bring one!) as well as the name of the eyeshadows, which makes it a lot more convenient!

My favourite eyeshadows in this palette are ‘honey bear’, which works as a lovely transition shade, however for an easy daytime look; I like to pop it all over my lid as it works as a good one wash wonder! I also like ‘dark chocolate’ and ‘aww snap’, which I like to put in my crease to add more depth. As for the shimmers, my ultimate go to is ‘getaway’ purely due to the fact that I’ve been loving reddy brown eyeshadows and it works well with my skin tone.

SHADES L-R: Snowflake, Bubbly, Itsmommyslife, Good Morning, Brick, Honey Bear, Tu Tu, Getaway, Ping, Dark Chocolate, Aww Snap, Night Night.

    ItsLipTime: LIP PALETTE* - £28

When it came to the lip palette, I was a l little bit apprehensive as it’s been years since I last used a lip palette and I kind of forgot what to expect from one. This lip palette also has 12 shades, ranging from light nude shades to dark sultry colours, although you get over 12 options (if you mix them). I like the idea of a lip palette if you’re someone who likes to change up their lip colour from day to night if you work during the day and want something a bit more fun for the evening. Lip palettes are also great if you want to experiment with different colours that would typically be out of your comfort zone. These lipsticks are quite sheer, but definitely buildable. The darker shades are considerably more pigmented than their nude counterparts. I didn’t expect them to be long lasting, but these definitely stay on the lips for a decent amount of time. For me personally, lip palettes just require a bit more work, to apply them and build them up to my desirable level of pigment. I’m really into my nude lips as of late, so ‘Miya bear’ is my current favourite shades from the palette as it’s a stunning darker nude with a brown undertone. P.S. The shade ‘cherry’ also smells like cherries too!

SHADES L-R: Ta-Da, Peaches, Julianna Bear, Milk Chocolate, Keira Bear, Miya Bear, B Did It, Falling Leaves, Chewy, Fierce, Sweet Cherry, Sultry.

    2. The lip palette look much better than I anticipated them too, although I'm more of a lipstick kinda gal for convenience and easiness. The eyeshadow palettes look amazing though. I love earthy, neutral tones.
