    THE BEST EYESHADOW PALETTES

There are so many eyeshadow palettes on the market nowadays and for someone who's starting out in makeup, it can be very daunting, deciding on which palette is the best for you. Beginners in makeup are most likely not going to know about fallout, colour pay off and the different finishes of eyeshadows, so here's the lowdown.

This is a palette that a lot of people who are afraid of eyeshadows that have a pink undertone would really shy away from. Despite the eyesahdows having a pinky undertone, I still find the eyeshadows very easy and wearable (especially for my dark skin). There are 10 shades in the palette, ranging from light to dark, with both matte and shimmer finishes. All of the shades are nice and pigmented and blend together really nicely.

This is my favourite quad as of yet! I love that this look achieves a more reddy eyeshadow look, which is something that I personally, would steer very clear from. At the back of this quad, there's a description of where to put each shade to achieve Charlotte's desired look. Within the quad, there are there shimmery shades and a glittery shade consisting of a highlight, lid colour, crease colour and a shade which makes the eye look pop.

This is the ultimate travelling palette for the person who loves their neutral eyeshadows. This palette is made up of eight eyeshadows, there is a row of mattes and a row of shimmers. I love using this palette for both the day and night time. There are so many looks that can be created from this small palette of extremely pigmented eyeshadows.

This is a beautiful neutral palette which would be especially perfect for anyone starting out in makeup as it's from the drugstore, therefore making it very affordable! There are twelve neutral shades varying in mattes and shimmers. There is also a guide at the back of the palette showing how the palette can be broken up into quads, trios and duos to achieve different looks. As with all the other palettes, this is really pigmented and easy to blend with very little fallout.

    What's your favourite eyeshadow palette?
