So November is over and
we are well into December, the last month of the year! November for me has been
pretty boring, yet stressful and anxious. Throughout the month of November,
I’ve really enjoyed using my fair share of products, ranging from makeup, to
skincare to scents.
Essie Apricot Cuticle
Oil
I am currently trying
to sort of my nail care routine and to try and combat this, I tried out a new
cuticle oil, which I happen to love! This Essie cuticle oil has the nicest
scent and smells like a Petit Filous yoghurt. It actually works and softens my
cuticles to allow me to push them back and have a more professional looking
manicure/pedicure.
Jo Malone Wood, Sage
& Sea Salt Cologne
I’m a sucker for anything
Jo Malone. Over the year, I’ve heard a lot about this particular scent as it’s
been loved and raved about by so many bloggers. I personally was always put off
by it as I thought it would literally smell of the salt and a nicer version of
a dirty sea (if that’s possible) however I gave this little bottle a spritz and
it may just be my new favourite! The scent isn’t too overwhelming yet it still
lingers.
Nars Creamy Radiant
Concealer
If you read my Nars
& Maybelline concealer comparison, you’ll know that I took quite a like to
this Nars concealer. It’s an absolutely amazing concealer; it has a nice
consistency as well as a great amount of pigmentation, meaning that I don’t
need to use too much product. The shade Amande is perfect for concealing my
under eye circles as well as my multitude of blemishes.
Super Facialist Micellar
Water
I’ve been really trying
to up my skincare game lately and I go through Micellar waters like they’re
going out of fashion. My all time favourite along with Bioderma is the Nivea
3-in-1 Cleansing Water. This specific Micellar water is so good at removing the
bulk of my makeup because the last thing I want is to be sitting there with a
cotton pad trying to remove my five layers of mascara.
MAC Brown Script
Eyeshadow
There has been one eye
makeup look I’ve been gravitating towards recently which has been winged
eyeliner with a matte brown in the crease. A lot of American/Canadian beauty
gurus use a brick red eyeshadow in the crease as a transition colour and since
their makeup always looks beautiful, I thought I’d give it a go. Brown Script
has been a stunning colour to use with Brun to add more definition in the
crease.
Kevyn Aucoin Single
Eyeshadow
When creating the eye
look as aforementioned, I like to use a creamy white eyeshadow as a base for
any other eyeshadow. I love everything about this eyeshadow from the functional
packaging, to the velvet pouch! This eyeshadow from Kevyn Aucoin is a beautiful
creamy white eyeshadow with a lovely smooth consistency.
MAC Combination |
Chestnut Lip liner & Plumful Lipstick
I have been obsessed
with a particular MAC lippie combination! MAC Chestnut lip liner with Plumful
lipstick blended together. This combination creates a beautiful deep, pinky
nude colour. I’ve worn these two products on various occasions from nights out
to throughout the day. It really makes a change from me wearing a deep bold
purple.

enjoyed using lately?
