    Highlights Anyone?

I absolutely love highlighting, whether it be a powder or cream to brighten the inner corner, brow bone or above the cheek bone. I love the way they can open up the eye and make you appear more awake and ready for the day/night. I'm guessing you can probably guess that I've been here and there with highlights and out of all the highlighters I've tried, only a few remain in my highlight staples!

The Cream: If you're looking for a great and affordable cream highlighter the Rimmel Wake Me Up highlighter is one to pop in your shopping basket. There are a few different shades, varying from bronze toned shades to rosey/pink tones. This highlighter is very shimmery and looks great on the cheek/brow bone on a night out!

The Pink One: A great shimmery pink highlighter is the MUA Undress Your Skin highlight. At £3 this is an absolute bargain! This very lightweight, finely milled highlighter is one to be reckoned with as it's great value for money and looks great on a variety of skin tones whether it's on the brow/cheek bone or for an inner corner highlight.

The Limited Edition: If you're on the hunt for an Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder dupe, the Bourjois Java Powder is said to be a great dupe and with a £28 price difference, who's complaining? Who can say no to a powder that's so finely milled which gives you a pretty, subtle highlight? Not me! The packaging is amazing too! Celebrating the 150th Anniversary of Bourjois!

The Copper Tone: If you're going all out with your makeup and want a great shimmery, lightweight highlighter the MAC Mineralise SkinFinish in Gold Deposit is the one for you! It's coppery tones would look great on those with green/hazel eyes and this highlighter is bound to make you stand out from everyone else! It's quite versatile in the sense that you can control the amount you apply which would determine the intensity of the result.

    What's your favourite highlight?
