A few days ago, my first ever Glossybox arrived at my door! I've have only ever tried one other
subscription beauty box in the past, however this is one that I have always
been intrigued to try due to it being so highly commended in the beauty
blogosphere. The idea of subscription boxes is one that really excites me,
especially knowing that something fun is coming in the post every month, but
you're not sure exactly what it is that you’re getting! It's like unwrapping a
Christmas present as it comes neatly wrapped in ribbon in a cute little box.
This August Glossybox*
just so happens to be the collectors edition to celebrate Glossybox's 5th
birthday this month. The box itself contains 4 different products and a canvas
pouch (perfect for travel and commuting), some of which are full size and
others that are samples. As far as I can remember I have never tried any of the
brands that I received in my box, except for the MUA palette (thankfully, I had
never tried this exact one!) and there is an MUA palette inside every single
August box too, so it’s perfect if you haven't tried one before - which I
recommend you do, they’re great! This subscription box is such great value for
money, particularly considering that it's only £10 per box and one of the
products is £4 on its own!
