    MONU ROSEWOOD REVIVING MIST

I am all for a refreshing mist, particularly in the warmer months or when my skin is in a more oily phase and my makeup just isn’t wearing as well as usual. Whenever I get the opportunity to try a brand that I have either never tried of heard of before, more often than not, I always jump at the chance (not literally, figuratively). MONU is a brand that I’ve actually never heard of before, so I was really intrigued when this came through my letterbox!

The Rosewood Reviving Mist* (£11.95) is a light, refreshing spay that I sprits on my face when I need a little mid-pay pick me up. The product contains, lemon essential oil, rosewood essential oil, sandalwood essential oil, petitgrain essential oil and geranium essential oil. I really like how versatile this multipurpose product is as it works well as a primer, setting and refreshing spray.  I use it by spraying it a few centimetres away from my face. I love how it doesn’t soak my face in the product, unlike other sprays that I have tried in the past. Although it does have a scent, it’s slightly more subtle than the Caudalie Beauty Elixir (review here) with regards to the scent and weight of the product. Another way that I’ve been using this product, is to set my makeup in place and I’ve found that it has really helped in regards to the wear time of my makeup. This will most likely be an absolute handbag and makeup bag essential in the summer to keep me cool in the heat as well as prolonging the longevity of my makeup.

Have you tried this product? What are your favourite sprits and mists?
