    5 BEAUTY ESSENTIALS

With an inundated amount of beauty products on the shelves nowadays, it can be difficult to distinguish between the cream and the crop. Being a beauty blogger, I often come into possession with many different beauty products, innovations and concepts, however there are those few products that are absolute essentials that I always have to have a back up of, as I cannot live without them!

Nuxe Reve De Miel Lip Balm – This is my absolute favourite lip balm of all time! It’s a beauty blogger favourite, but it’s definitely worth the hype. It’s a lovely thick and nourishing lip product, which is in between a lip balm and treatment. Being matte, it works perfectly under notoriously dry matte lipsticks – keeping your lips hydrated whilst maintaining the matte element. I always keep this nearby, whether it is in my bag or car and whenever my lips are chapped and I slather it on!

Panasonic Cleansing BrushCleansing is important for anyone, but particularly important for someone like me, who is prone to breakouts. I’ve found that when I use an electronic cleansing brush my skin is a lot clearer and I’m a firm believer that you know how well a product works for you when your skin changed when you stop using it – and it’s the same when it comes to me and cleansing brushes. This Panasonic cleansing brush removes makeup and cleanses pores in addition to having various heat settings to loosen makeup from the skin and to then gently remove it.

Sudocream – Unfortunately I was cursed with blemish prone skin and although nowadays, it’s a lot more tamed, I still have some hyper-pigmentation from previous spots and when it comes to my skin, these are what makes me the most self conscious – more so than active acne. I’ve tried many different blemish skincare, but the product that has really helped is Sudocream. As this is a really thick cream, I apply it before bed and sleep with it on overnight and it helps to reduce the appearance of my hyper pigmentation as well as any current blemishes.

Slick Brush – My go-to hairstyles are messy buns or high ponytails, but my hair isn’t one length and some strands are too short to fit in the hairband, which leads to flyaways. I’ve found that when using the slick brush, rather than my usual paddle brush, I get a sleeker and perfected hairstyle, as the brush is quite dense and brushes my hair in one direction.

Tweezerman Tweezers – Brows have been all the rage over the past couple of years and thanks to the likes of Cara Delevigne, big brows are back on trend. I personally still like to have more tamed and perfected brows and these Tweezerman tweezers are the best I’ve ever tried – and I’ve tried a lot. They’re the sharpest tweezers and therefore reduce the pain when plucking, as you’re not constantly trying to tackle the same pesky hair.
