I have to say that when it comes to wearing SPF, I'm not one who usually follows the rules unless I'm on holiday. Something in my head says it's okay not to wear SPF as I have a dark skin tone which is nonsense to be honest. It's not okay for me to skip SPF just because of my skin tone, I need an SPF just as much as the next person. Regardless of the fact that I tan and don't burn. In all fairness, a lot of the makeup that I have been wearing in the summer, does contain an SPF.
To put an end to my bone idle approach to SPF, I've been using the Simple Kind To Skin+ Protecting Moisture Cream*. The product itself is both UVA and UVB protective, preventing any damage done by ultraviolet rays and in addition to this, it has an SPF 30. As with all Simple products, this product is not artificially scented which is great for my sensitive skin. It also has a couple of vitamins and skin loving ingredients that are supposedly very good for skin.
This cream has got a purple undertone to it when it's applied to the skin, however it disappears once it has been rubbed into the skin properly and that is probably due to the SPF. I know I previously mentioned that it's not artificially scented, the SPF within the product has a scent, which I personally really like and it doesn't affect my sensitive skin. This is a very moisturising product, so if like me, you suffer from dry or dehydrated skin, this could be a good'en for you. Despite the moisturising properties, you can still apply makeup over the top and it doesn't slip over the face.
Have you tried this? What do you think?
